LOGitEASY’s services are priced based on our history of experience in the geoconsulting industry, both in operations and strategic planning, and on extensive discussions with other professionals in the industry. The pricing was developed with an understanding of industry unit pricing rates for logs and with the objective of providing users of our services a cost-savings opportunity over their current process.
(LOGitEASY eForm) is priced according to the following options:
- Free (Free Boring Log Software) – A significant part of the industry is currently creating logs using software that is already on their computers (e.g., Excel) and free. While such software itself is free, it is not fit-for-purpose and its use for creating logs has therefore come at the expense of having to set up log templates and custom processes. This end-user-builds-all approach has also limited the amount of technical functionality available (when new functionality is needed, it has to be created). We have created boring log software that looks like Excel and is free like Excel, but that is fit-for-purpose, field logging capable, and continually being enhanced so that you can use it out-of-the-box.
- Pay-As-You-go (Premium Boring Log Software) – Up until now, the geoconsulting industry has been purchasing licensed boring log software and installing licenses on individual computers. There are numerous disadvantages to this approach for gaining access to technical software, including initial and ongoing costs, purchasing approval processes, keeping track of licenses, etc. For those of you requiring our premium service, we have created pay-as-you-go pricing (per log and regardless of depth). If you require logs in gINT or LogPlot templates, you can get those and the corresponding digital files without having to own a license of that software. Unlimited Geologic Cross Sections are included in Pay-As-You-Go pricing plan.
- All-You-Can-Log Pricing (Premium Boring Log Software) – For those of you that use gINT or LogPlot and regularly create many boring logs, we now offer unlimited use of our Premium Boring Log Software on a per user, monthly pricing basis. This option was designed to integrate our software’s field logging capabilities with your desktop boring log software. After you log the boring with our software, you instantly receive a LOGitEASY PDF template log, for initial data visualization, and a gINT or LogPlot data file for importing into your own software and log finalization. The cost-effectiveness of this option depends on the number of logs you create. Unlimited Geologic Cross Sections are included in All-You-Can-Log subscription.
There are no license, support, maintenance, or version upgrade costs associated with the use of the LOGitEASY eForm. We do not offer licensed software for sale.
